‘A dog for every job and a job for every dog’

Dogs Rehomed

Dogs4Jobs is a holistic working dog community service founded in November 2019, operating across Australia. Our main goals are rehoming working breed dogs from all walks of life, that are in need of a new purpose, or second chance, as well as striving to match a suitable dog to each individual, family, home and/or jobs’ requirements. Whether it’s working the couch and cuddles after a run and play, working the dog sports arena, working on the well-being of humans as a therapy or assistance dog, or working stock; we aim to make sure every dogs’ needs will be met.
Further to our primary purpose, we also work with the wider working dog community to provide relief and assistance to owners and their dogs in times of need or natural disasters, as well as delivering support, training and educational programs to assist in bettering outcomes for working breed dogs and people in the community.

🐾 Pupdate from Snowey, now Yuki 🥰
You may remember tiny Snowey from last year, she was surrendered with a bung leg. We were able to get her the vet care she needed to amputate the leg because of your help. Here’s what her mum has to say about her:
“Yuki is thriving in her new pack, bringing out the puppy in her 13 year old sister and playing chase with her athletic 4 year old sister. She loves tagging along to brunch and small adventures and is a smart cookie, about to compete in her first scent work trial next month! She is still cheeky and likes to chew on things she shouldn't (RIP phone cables and shoe insoles) but this doesn't stop us from enjoying all the love she has to give. She will be celebrating her first birthday in two weeks and we plan to spoil her with a play date with her dog friends, treats and toys!”
Happy early first birthday, Yuki 🎊🥳🎁🎂 ... See MoreSee Less

⛓️💥POUND BREAK⛓️💥
Earlier this week we got word of a sweet, old dog that was found as a stray in a farming area. No one knew him so he found himself in the pound 😔.
Our incredible volunteers swung straight into action. Within 24 hours we were able to break him free from the pound and get him into a warm, safe, loving foster home.
He needs some vet care and time to settle after what appears to be a difficult life. We’ll keep you updated with how he’s going 🧡. ... See MoreSee Less
