‘A dog for every job and a job for every dog’

Dogs Rehomed

Dogs4Jobs is a holistic working dog community service founded in November 2019, operating across Australia. Our main goals are rehoming working breed dogs from all walks of life, that are in need of a new purpose, or second chance, as well as striving to match a suitable dog to each individual, family, home and/or jobs’ requirements. Whether it’s working the couch and cuddles after a run and play, working the dog sports arena, working on the well-being of humans as a therapy or assistance dog, or working stock; we aim to make sure every dogs’ needs will be met.
Further to our primary purpose, we also work with the wider working dog community to provide relief and assistance to owners and their dogs in times of need or natural disasters, as well as delivering support, training and educational programs to assist in bettering outcomes for working breed dogs and people in the community.

Sweet Thunder found himself in the pound, nervous, alone and just wanting human to cuddle.
Luckily one of our foster carers was able to take him in. It quickly became apparent that all he needed to feel safe and happy was a cosy lap to sleep on!
Now his foster mum has declared him the “cuddliest kelpie she’s ever fostered”!
Thunder is still looking for his own human, could that be you?
Thunder is in the ACT and available Australia wide via commercial transport. You can find out more about him in the link below or in our stories. ... See MoreSee Less

Sweet cattle dog x pup, Johnny, has spent his short life waiting for his forever family to appear 🥺.
He’s safe in foster care with his two other siblings but we’d really love to see them find their people sooner rather than later. It’s what every dog deserves ❤️.
Johnny is in the ACT and available Australia wide via commercial transport. You can find out more about him in the comments or our story.

Living the life ❤️
Nestor loves other dogs, loves kids and just wants to be around his people. He’s an exceptionally good boy ❤️.
Nestor has seen the worst side of humans. He was rescued with 9 of his extended family, starved and unsure of the world.
His other family members have found their forever homes but for some reason, after 101 days in care, Nestor is still waiting 💔.
Nestor is in NSW and available Australia wide via commercial transport.
You can find out more about Nestor in the link in our comments or stories.
