Dogs Rehomed
Dogs4Jobs is a holistic working dog community service founded in November 2019, operating across Australia. Our main goals are rehoming working breed dogs from all walks of life, that are in need of a new purpose, or second chance, as well as striving to match a suitable dog to each individual, family, home and/or jobs’ requirements. Whether it’s working the couch and cuddles after a run and play, working the dog sports arena, working on the well-being of humans as a therapy or assistance dog, or working stock; we aim to make sure every dogs’ needs will be met.
Further to our primary purpose, we also work with the wider working dog community to provide relief and assistance to owners and their dogs in times of need or natural disasters, as well as delivering support, training and educational programs to assist in bettering outcomes for working breed dogs and people in the community.
Dogs4Jobs is an animal welfare charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profit Commission.

A special pupdate from Bug from the Insect Pups. When he was diagnosed with early onset cerebellar abiotrophy (CA) at 8 weeks, we got so many calls to euthanase him right there and then. Yet here he is, 4 years later, living his best life. He does a great job controlling his wobbles - until he's excited or stalking the sheep and goats. There is a very accurate test for the type of CA - the early onset type is non-degenerative, and dogs can live a full life. The late onset degenerates quickly, and affected dogs sadly live short lives. For these dogs, euthanasia is the kindest thing to do. At Dogs4Jobs, we've had lots of experience with CA and have contributed significantly to Dr Kao's research into the disease over the years. I have a 9 year old registered Kelpie with CA as well - my special girl (:
100% agree - our kelpie, Baxter also has early onset CA. He is living a good life despite also having epilepsy

Sweet and petite Marcella is still on the look out for the perfect forever home 🏡.
She’s been tested with cats, cattle and horses and apart from wanting the cats to play with her every now and then, she’s respectful of them.
True to breed, Marcella is loyal and loving to her trusted humans. She’ll thrive with space to explore and patrol but also be treated like a cuddly member of the family.

“We feed the horses & sheep every morning and go for off lead walks around the property. At night I love coming in & sitting my by fire before I get tucked into bed!
I am very social & love meeting new friends but my new mum forgets to take photos when we are out…… I love exploring off the property on the lead and am getting pretty good at new commands!
Mum says I am certainly a character and I make them laugh every day! I am keeping my new friend Friday busy with lots of games and exploring! I have brought the playfulness back out of the old girl!

** HELP SENIOR BOY ARTHUR **
Our amazing volunteers managed to get Arthur out of the pound in 24 hours. He’s settling into care well and it’s very clear he loves life!
Unfortunately, we have discovered a long, long list of medical issues which have gone uncared for.
His list of issues include (but isn’t limited too 😩):
• a second ultrasound has found a mass on his spleen, and his spleen will need to be removed.
• he has a ‘bung’ eye, which he’s been referred to a specialist ophthalmologist for assessment.
• he has severe dental disease which needs attention,
• there’s a 3cm sized lump on his left shoulder….
The list goes on 😢.
Arthur deserves so much better but we need your help to get him the vet care he needs. Every little bit truly does help.
